Hey family and Friends, t
This week was pretty nuts with transfers and everything, but it was awesome! We had some pretty cool miracles :)
I don't think I said this last week, but I'm with Elder Sto Tomas again! Elder Aldous ended up getting transferred last minute, but is still in the district. Elder Sto Tomas is the man! He's exactly what this area needs right now, so pumped to be with him again :) It's funny though because my whole mission is turning into a double dip. I've only been in 2 wards in 18 months, and I've had 2 of my companions twice now. This transfer will make a year in Thornlie ward Woooooooo!! hahaha :)
We are having a baptism on Friday with our investigator J. Her desire is insanely strong to be baptized, super cool. It's random because it will be the 4th Indonesian lady that I will have baptized on the mission. It's all been super fast, but exciting!
Yesterday we got a text from a random number saying that he really wanted to come to church because it had been too long, so he asked for a ride, and so we got him one and he and his fiancé came! It was cool because we have tried heaps to talk to them, but they were always busy. After church we had a prompting to see this hard out inactive family (pretty much apostate) . So we went and it was cool how the Spirit was able to soften their hearts step by step as we were there. They had a piano so I played it for them ( some good churchy stuff ;) ) then we had a lesson, and I had a prompting to ask them what they were each grateful for, and then by that point everyone was not as rowdy so we shared a spiritual thought, and the spirit was super strong. Before the thought they were making fun of a lot of spiritual things and were being spazy, but then they all calmed down and listened. That lesson really strengthened my testimony about how we can be instruments in God's hands because it was the spirit that did everything, not us, we just followed the promptings.
I love the work right now. There honestly is nothing better in the world to be doing. I love my companion, the area, the members, the people, all of it!
and y'all ;)
Love Elder Beeson
