Oi!! hey everyone, This is going to be a quicky here. This week was quite the roller coaster, so I will just bullet point the week here:
-we went to Lancelin on pday. We went sand boarding in the dunes. It was soooooo sweet!.... but then on they way back I got a ticket......................ug hh
-got a call from a random number on Tuesday from this south African lady. She said that she is trying to find the true church, and wanted us to come teach her. So we went that night, and taught her the restoration, and now the Butler elders are teaching her!
-We had an awesome family home evening at T's house. two of her partner's mates moved in as well. This guy from Sudan named Sunday, and his aussie partner N, and they have a daughter as well. We taught the restoration with some candles, and everyone enjoyed it! Brother Reedy was soooooooooo bold to each of them, but it was a really good bold, he told them that they all needed to be baptized. So we invited all of them to be baptized, and they all said they would!! nice!! we didn't set a specific date, because they all have a lonnnnnnnng way to go haha!! but it was a really good vibe there. The spirit was there and everyone felt it :)
-Transfers were good :)
-We had Sister G's Parents come with us to teach E ( the Peruvian) haha we sort of looked like Jw's, but oh well haha! It went well, I think things will start to progress with him in a good way now :)
-Had a lesson at the B's about recognizing the spirit and the wow! it was really good, we will have to help them with some wow issues, but it will work out :)
-We are going to start the quit smoking program with T and sunday on Tuesday! it is going to be so good, both of them have been reading the book of Mormon heaps, and so they are ready for the next step of change :)
-we found out we have another suburb in our area!! after all this time!! what the heck, so we tracted there sunday morning. heaps of south Africans there.
-we had a good lesson with the S's they came to church again! it's funny because it always seems to be that whatever we teach them the night before church, someone in sacrament meeting always talks about it. It happened again yesterday, we taught about lehi's dream, then Bishop shared his testimony about holding to the rod! haha such cool tender mercies.
-A called and said that he doesn't want us to visit his family until the day before the baptism, because the visits are stressing his wife out... :/ so that's the big work in progress right now, but it will all work out. we fasted for them and are praying for them, so we know it will all work out :)
I love this area and these people. it's so nice being here!! I never want to come home hahaha it feels like home here :)
Love you all
love elder Beeson
