Hey family/ friends! Good week and a half! I'll share some spiritual and some not as spiritual highlights of the week!We were tracting and we met this Phillipino dude and he told us he had a question for us about eternal marriage, and he said that he wanted us to come back in 15 minutes to give him the answer. Neither me or Elder Matautia and I had our bibles on us, and we knew it would be a bit of a bible bash, so we got our bibles and went back. He let us in, and was just straight preaching to us. haha pulled out the anti Mormon and the youtube temple stuff. But he has a friend that is in the ward, and so we knew that he couldn't be too bad, so we went back the next day and talked with about the Restoration! We took a recently returned missionary with us to that lesson. it was good. And in the end he committed to pray to God about the book of Mormon. On Thursday there was a last minute child of record baptism, and I was called just a few hours before to be the speaker. We were super busy so I didn't get to really prepare anything, but it was a good opportunity for me to work on the goal I have set to rely more on the spirit in teaching! it went well :)On Friday we went on exchanges with the Assistants, and we got permission to go visit one of our recent converts! She worked in the shops that was like a 5 minute drive from the Assistant's flat, and it was good to see her. She was pretty busy with work, but it was a surprise to her to see elder Matautia and I back together again! haha.We had a zone service on Saturday painting some fences, it was fun but hot! it hit 40 degrees! ( I think that's like 104 farenheit) then later that day we had a thanksgiving with the same Maori family I had it with when I was in this area last year! it was super fun :)On sunday we went to Narrogin branch to do this member-missionary-zone conference thing that is being put on by the stake. it was a really spiritual experience for me. there were about 30 people there at most, ( most people were visiting from the stake.) but each of the people that were there, all wanted to be there. It was a COMPLETELY different feel to what sacrament meeting usually feels like for me. They had 1 old man passing the sacrament. It was powerful. It put the image in my mind of how it would be if the saviour was passing it. I was then the first speaker for the meeting, and again, I tried my best to rely on the spirit. I had a few thoughts and ideas, but as I talked everything felt like it just flowed. the whole 3 hour block was just awesome though. The branch fed us afterwards, and we took a picture with them. I'll try to send it this Monday. We had a really good lesson with the Ward's on Monday! We only really taught M and K, but it was good. we taught the entire restoration, and it was nice because there was never a feeling I had of that made me feel like they weren't keen and didn't want to listen. they were both fully engaged, and it made the lesson flow and the spirit was there. We invited them to be baptized, and the brother, said he doesn't know yet, but probably, and his wife is still holding on to some catholic things, but it'll happen in time 100%!This week was awesome a few things I learned is about how important it is to rely on the spirit, and about how much of an effect music can have on us. it's super important to listen to whatever will bring the Spirit. I try to do it everyday!sorry for the long all over the place email, but I hope you know that I'm happy, and I love my companion, the people and the Lord! and you all too ;)Love Elder Beeson
